COHERENS(a Coupled Hydrodynamical Ecological model for Regional Shelf seas)
coherens是一种区域性陆架海域偶合生态的水动力学模型,由欧联盟在90-99年期间开发,是为了解决近几年来欧洲陆架海域水质日益恶化的问题,提出了这样一个偶合生态的水动力模型,目的是预测在生物区条件改变产生的影响以及模拟污染物输运扩散的规律。coherens模型中除了考虑物质输运,还考虑有机物质和营养物质的循环,coherens模型主要包括四个部分:
1 物理模块,模拟速度场、压力场等;
2 微生物模块,用来处理浮游生物、碎石、溶解无机氮和氧的动力转化过程;
3 欧拉沉积物模块,模拟无机物、有机物的沉积再悬浮的过程;
4 污染物模块(结合欧拉和拉哥朗日两种方法)-COHERENS is a three-dimensional multi-purpose numerical model, designed for application in coastal and shelf seas, estuaries, lakes, reservoirs, ... The model is available as a free source code for the scientific community and can be considered as a tool for a better understanding of the physical and ecological processes and for the prediction and monitoring of waste material in shelf seas, the coastal zone and estuaries. Its ease of implementation across a range of computing platforms means that it is attractive to groups who have a sufficient modelling expertise and have need for sophisticated model products. Important advantages of the model are its transparency due to its modular structure and its flexibility because of the possibility to select different processes, specific schemes and different types of forcing for a particular application.
