LAN Platform(局域网交流互动平台)是一款以UDP为主TCP为辅面向局域网的应用软件，集主流聊天交流软件功能为一身，发挥局域网稳定、快捷的优势，为内网用户提供了交流互动的平台。软件不需要服务器，启动即可与当前在线用户交流，软件还提供了跨网段游戏搜索功能，为广大War3爱好者提供了方便简易的对战平台。
本软件采用Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0作为主要的开发工具，实现下面四个功能：
聊天：实现基于UDP的局域网聊天，基于TCP的传输文件等功能。
游戏搜索：实现跨网段WarCraft3的游戏搜索功能，应用了网络抓包，数据包分析的技术。
个人信息：用于用户设置个人信息，为聊天功能提供更多信息。
系统设置：用于设置系统相关内容如：定时事件提醒、整点报时、消息声音提示、每日一贴、帮助文件及其他功能的开启状态控制等。
