multi—scale descr iption of the Wavelet Descr iptor，this paper pmposes a delaminating image retrieval model

by using R-tree index，which hierarchically filter the similar templates with the object pattern via the multiresolution

descr iption techniques of the contour to eusure the system’S efficiency and precision，and the ex—

periments prove the efficiency and effectiveness by image retrieval of the vehicles．
