The purpose of this document is to provide an introduction of a restart process in an ETL project involving DataStage and its relationship to the process audit tables. It is intended for the any one who wishes to implement a detailed audit and restart mechanism not supplied by DataStage and presumes in-depth understanding of DataStage sequence jobs. The ETL project involves the use of RDBMS tables to write the audit information of each job in the sequence.
