. The reference simulator can be used to measure and plot the network capacity performance and signal to interference ratio (SIR) performance of LTE networks with the integer frequency reuse scheme with reuse factor 1 (IFR-1). Frequency reuse scheme with reuse factor 1 means that the available frequency resource is used by all the cells in the LTE network. You are advised to refer to the relevant slides of lecture 5 to get more information on the method used to calculate the SIR and capacity performances.
The system level LTE is consisted of two Matlab scr ipt files (LTE_main.m, LTE_configuration.m), three Matlab function files (LTE_IFR_sim_dist.m, LTE_IFR_sim_netwide.m, LTE_IFR_plot.m) and one Matlab mat file (bs_user_position.mat).
