-This paper introduces a kind of SS(Star-Subne) NOC
architecture. Based on current CLICHÉ structure NOC in
which all the nodes are organized in regular grid
topology, SS NOC uses further the concept of subnet and
it characterizes that one router and four nodes are
interconnected in star topology in the subnet. OPNET
simulation results show that SS NOC has less end-to-end
delay than CLICHÉ NOC and only has 1/4 total number
of routers of CLICHÉ on the same network scale. On the
other hand, the load of routers in SS is less than twice of
that of CLICHÉ . So SS NOC has better performance/cost
