There are four levels of implementation to apply:
1. To use “edge function” with the Sobel, Prewitt,average,disk,gaussian,log,motion,prewitt,unsharp options
2.To use convolution filtering with both the “imfilter” and standard convolution techniques
3.To use a non linear or non convolution based technique to illustrate the application of “range” or“averaging” based edge detection.
4.To use a non-linear region based statistical technique to analyse differences in local image
