本项目研究的是基于GPS的公交车自动报站系统，目的是使公交车通过GPS定位，准确获知并且确定车辆位置，然后通过液晶显示站点信息，提示灯变亮，再由音频系统自动播报站名，从以前完全手动控制变为选择性自动控制，以提高公交系统的准确性和安全性。-An intelligent bus monitoring and dispatching system based on ARM is designed,which focus on the acquisition and transmission of the real-time data. Intelligent transportation is the important index of the informatization of city, which used in bus-stop will bring great convenience to the people for travel. The vehicle terminal collect GPS data and operation data ,then transmit it to the monitoring center through GPRS wireless network .The design is expected to provide fast, convenient service for the passengers .The major advantages of this project is its high accuracy and low cost,it could be a low cost solution to the intelligent bus monitoring and dispatching system.
