The SMSCIR sample implements a driver for a Consumer IR receiver for Windows Vista with Media Center. This driver works with the SMSC SIO1049 SuperIO chip and is intended to show how to write a Consumer IR Receiver/Transceiver driver for Windows Vista with Media Center.
