ASM（Active Shape Model，主动形状模型），是一种基于统计模型的图像搜索方法。它的优点是能根据训练数据对参数的调整加以限制，从而将形状的改变限制在一个合理的范围。ASM方法首先针对特定目标建立形状模型并采用一系列特征点来描述，称为点分布模型（PDM）；然后对形状模型中的每个特征点建立特征点附近的灰度模型；ASM方法利用灰度模型在目标图像中搜索特征点的最佳位置，同时根据搜索结果调整形状模型的参数，最终使模型匹配到目标的轮廓上。-ASM (Active Shape Model, active shape model), a statistical model-based image search method.
